The Head of Security Iberia is responsible for leading and developing the Security function across Spain and Portugal, ensuring the protection of people, assets, parcels, and operations throughout the network. This role will define and execute the security strategy for Iberia, driving loss prevention, incident management, risk mitigation, and operational resilience while supporting InPost's continued growth and operational excellence ambitions.
As the regional security leader, you will work closely with Operations and key stakeholders to build a scalable, data-driven, and high-performing security framework, fostering a strong culture of prevention and continuous improvement across the organization.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
• Design, build, and lead the Security function across Iberia.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams focused on loss prevention and security operations.
• Establish and oversee a 24/7/365 security incident management and escalation model.
• Lead loss prevention, investigations, asset protection, and incident resolution activities across depots and transport operations.
• Develop and implement security standards, governance frameworks, audits, and control mechanisms to minimise loss and operational risks.
• Manage security budgets, suppliers, and technology investments, ensuring efficiency and business value.
• Drive data-led decision making through KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and security performance analysis.
• Lead innovation initiatives in surveillance, access control, incident management, and network securitisation.
• Build and develop a high-performing Security team while fostering a prevention culture across the organisation.
• Partner with Operations and key stakeholders to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve network security.

• Reduce unknown loss across depots and transport operations.
• Build a robust, scalable, and effective Security Operations framework for Iberia.
• Ensure timely detection, management, and resolution of security incidents.
• Achieve Security department KPIs and strategic objectives.
Well, what will the requirements be?
• Proven experience in security management, loss prevention, and security operations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid background in incident management within 24/7 and high-pressure environments.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of physical security systems and investigation processes.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Spanish and Professional level of English required
Experience & Qualifications
• 5–7 years of experience in security operations, loss prevention, asset protection, or related roles.
• University degree, preferably related to Security, Operations, Data Analysis, Business Management, or similar fields.
• Security Director licence issued by the Spanish Ministry of Interior (Law 5/2014 on Private Security) mandatory.
• ASIS CPP/APP, TAPA, Wicklander-Zulawski, ISO 28000 certifications, crisis management training, or similar qualifications are considered a plus.
• Proven experience in logistics, transportation, retail, or physical security environments is highly valued.
