At InPost, we continue to expand our First Mile operations across Iberia to support our growing network and partner brands. We are looking for a First Mile Specialist to manage the daily coordination of collections and returns, ensuring smooth and reliable transport execution.
Reporting to the Transport Manager Iberia, this is an operational and execution-driven role focused on organizing, monitoring and delivering brand collections according to agreed service levels. The First Mile Specialist plays a key role in maintaining service quality, managing transport partners and resolving day-to-day incidents efficiently.
We are looking for a proactive and well-organized professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, with strong coordination skills and the ability to work closely with transport providers and internal departments such as Sales.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
Coordinate and manage daily collections and returns from partner brands.
Handle and resolve incidents related to brand pickups in a timely and effective manner.
Request and organize additional vehicles when required for collections or returns.
Request and validate cost quotations for new or exceptional brand collections.
Collaborate closely with the Sales department to follow up on specific brand requirements related to pickups and collections.
Maintain daily communication with transport partners to ensure service compliance.
Identify and onboard new transport partners when necessary, negotiating competitive rates.
Prepare and manage weekly invoicing with transport partners.
Perform final validation of monthly invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with agreed rates and services.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within First Mile operations.
Well, what will the requirements be?
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar operational transport or logistics coordination role.
Experience managing collections, pickups and transport providers.
Basic understanding of transport cost structures and invoicing processes.
Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Proactive, solution-oriented and able to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
High level of organization and attention to detail.
Spanish and English proficiency are required.
