The Account Operations Specialist (Portuguese Speaker) will support parcel locker deployment operations by coordinating processes, partners, and site activities to ensure weekly installation targets are successfully achieved.
This role involves overseeing pre-deployment activities, scheduling site visits, coordinating with subcontractors and partners, and ensuring all operational requirements are completed before lockers are installed. The specialist will maintain accurate tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring to guarantee smooth execution and compliance with deployment standards.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
Own and manage the end-to-end parcel locker deployment process, including (but not limited to):
Location pre-surveys
On-site surveys
Coordination of pre-deployment electrical works and groundworks
Obtaining all required permits and approvals
Scheduling and coordinating all site visits
Organizing installation timelines with external partners
Ensuring lockers are fully prepared and deployment-ready before leaving the warehouse
Take full accountability for delivering the agreed and approved number of locker deployments per week, ensuring all pre-deployment requirements are completed prior to installation.
Hire, lead, and manage a team of Deployment Managers and Coordinators, ensuring high performance and alignment with weekly targets.
Oversee and manage relationships with multiple third-party subcontractors responsible for surveys, technical works, and installations, ensuring quality and timely execution.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination across all deployment phases.
Monitor progress against ambitious deployment goals and proactively resolve issues that may impact timelines or quality standards.
Well, what will the requirements be?
Native Portuguese speaker (written and spoken) or full professional fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken).
Ideally, experience in a comparable or similar role.
Proven track record of success exceeding goals and meeting operational targets.
Operations and/or project management experience.
Ability to manage complex situations and coordinate multiple partners simultaneously.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience setting up processes for tracking, reporting, and analytics.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions.
Ability to implement processes and continuous improvements while working effectively under pressure.
Level of Experience
2–4 years of experience in a similar position.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
Valid driving licence in Spain.
University degree preferred.
English level B2.
