Loss Prevention Manager

Support the department manager to manage expeditions and problem resolution in the InPost Spain Security department. This includes maintaining update records, investigating and resolving incidents related to lost parcels, coordinating internal communication, collecting data and performance metrics, managing resources and participating in operational improvement projects.
He/she will be responsible for the direct coordination of the Loss Prevention area, taking care of all investigation at national level, making use of video surveillance systems, analysing possible incidents in all agencies in Spain, recruiting and maintain talent, etc.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
- Loss exposure and loss controls analysis,
- Loss investigation, and when necessary, theft investigation,
- Physical security systems and controls,
- Loss prevention education and awareness,
- Thorough loss prevention audit programs.
- Ability to identify problems, collect information and offering strategic solutions
- Proven experience in developing and implementing programs and strategies to address physical security in logistic industry,
- A strong knowledge of the law to ensure investigations are not derailed because of legal mistakes. Experienced with court proceedings and knowledge of Spanish Private Security legal scope,
- Coordinates with Operations, Transportation, Customer Service, and other areas to minimize loss exposure and maximize asset protection and control.
- Implements and evaluates security systems including plant facility security.
- Gathers information and data from all forms of criminal activity to be categorized and analysed, helping to build a database for use in future investigations.
- Executes internet security and social media investigations.

- Achievement of the department’s objectives.
Loss Prevention Manager Key Skills:
- Relevant experience in loss prevention or security industry.
- Proven loss prevention program experience, including management skills.
- Data analysis experience, and demonstrate ability to gather data from different sources.
- Fluent in English & Spanish. French will be considered.
- Basic data management software such as Excel, and advance software such as Power Bi or similar.
Experience level:
2 - 3 years in a similar position, and proven experience managing operational teams.
Well, what will the requirements be?
- Degree in Criminology, Security Science, Law or similar.
- Industry recognized qualifications. (Certified Safety & Security training, Wicklander-Zulawski, CPP, APP, TAPA, Logistic / Retail Loss Prevention studies, Criminology, Private Investigator, Security Management, Police or Military training). Almost one.
- Master`s degree in Private Security or Investigation will be consider as a plus.
